Turkish exports grew 15.3 percent last May

 With a value of 18 billion and 984 million dollars.


 Turkish exports grew by 15.3 percent last May, compared to the same month last year.

 This came according to the country's foreign trade data, which is prepared by the Turkish Statistics Authority in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade.

 The revenues of Turkish exports last May amounted to 18 billion and 984 million dollars.

 In terms of imports, it achieved a growth during the same month, by 43.5 percent, to reach a value of 29 billion and 588 million dollars.

 The rate of exports compared to imports also declined to 64.2 percent during last May, after it reached 79.8 percent in the same month last year.

 As for the foreign trade deficit, it increased by 155.2 percent to reach 10 billion and 605 million dollars, during last May.
